Edible Flowers

Eating edible flowers can boost your health, because most of them contain antioxidants and vitamin C.
Violets in garnishes and dessert are a source or rutin, which may strengthen capillaries.
Borage, which can be used in salads, can help relieve a cold or cough.
Lavender Petals, which taste sweet, may help protect the central nervous system.
Roses, which taste both sweet and astringent, may fight cardiovascular disease.
Nasturtiums, lemon gold marigold and calendula petals are good in salads and will improve eyesight and fight cancer.
So get out there in your garden and start picking flowers for your evening dinner and remember gardening is great exercise too!
Dagny & Lane Baby Products all contain lavender, which is a very calming essential oil also.
